Whether you are an introvert or extrovert, we are all participating in self-quarantine due to the severity of COVID-19. Now that we are practicing in social distancing, it may seem like the world has taken the fun out of everything but you are not to worry. Here is a list of things you can do at home that will keep you active and motivated until society shifts back to normal.
1. REDISCOVER YOUR HOBBIES
At one point in our lives, we have put aside our hobbies like reading or photography to make time for more important things such as work or spending time with friends and families.
Therefore, self-quarantine is a time to focus on yourself. Take this extra time to rediscover what you use to love doing. Think about life in a less stressful time and do something that makes you happy.
2. Get in Better Shape
The gyms may be closed but that should not stop you from getting daily exercise. Make it a fun activity by lifting your significant other in your arms while doing a squat or doing sit-ups. You can even face a mirror at home while doing this to find laughter and smiles while working out together.
Also, this is a good time to start one of your new year resolutions (it’s never too late..!) like getting in better shape. Here, you can begin with easy basic at-home workout ideas.
3. KEEP HUMAN CONNECTION
Make an effort to reach out to those who are important to you. Those that need your support getting through this uneasy time. You could simply start by giving them a video call, phone call, or a text. Getting some human interaction will boost your spirits and create a sense of support from others.
